A. F. Scheld

Anton F. Scheld, 77, Sioux City, died at La Grange, Ill.. Wednesday (Feb. 15, 1978) after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Scheld was born in Germany Feb. 12, 1901. He settled in Dakota City in 1924 and in Sioux City in 1926. He had worked for Armour & Co. until retiring in 1963.

Mr. Scheld married Frieda Friske Dec. 24, 1927, in Kingsley. Mrs. Scheld died March 15, 1962. in Sioux City. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran church.

Survivors are a son, Karl of :La Grange Park; Ill., and two grandchildren.

Services were held Monday morning at the W. Harry Christy; funeral home. Rev. Paul C. Mueller, Reedemer Lutheran church officiated. Burial was in Memorial park cemetery.
