Lawton, Iowa—Mrs. T. Walter Jones, 76, of Lawton died Saturday in a Sioux City hospital after a short illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the W. Harry Christy Funeral Home in Morningside. The Rev. Robert Peters of Lawton Community Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Jones, the former Mary Isabella McNear, was born April 1, 1906, at rural Anthon, Iowa. She graduated from Anthon High School and taught in rural Woodbury County Schools.

She married T. Walter Jones September 109, 1927, in Sioux City. They farmed near Anthon, Moville and Bronson, Iowa, before moving to a farm near Lawton in 1944. They retired and moved into Lawton in 1970. He died Oct. 9, 1979.

Mrs. Jones was a Methodist.

Survivors include two brothers, Richard of Whiting, Iowa, and George of Oto, Iowa.
