.Marjorie (Marge) Alice McKewon, 77, of Pleasanton, Calif., formerly of McCook Lake died Dec. 21, 2001.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Willow County Cemetery in Holly Springs, Iowa.

Mrs. McKewon was born Oct. 21, 1924, in Sioux City, the daughter of Cecil Russ and Margret Boyd. She married Richard "Dick" McKewon on Sept. 24, 1941. They moved to California in 1972, and had lived in Pleasanton since 1975.

She enjoyed baseball, vacations with her family, watching TV, crossword puzzles, watching the San Francisco 49ers and Giants.

Survivors include her husband; two sons and their wives, Rick and Sylvia of Pleasanton, and Lonny and Carol of Spencer, Iowa; a daughter and her husband, Carole and Ralph Bell of Fremont, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
