Adolph E. Robe, 87, 2820 Third St. died Friday in a Sioux City nursing home after a long illness.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Graceland Park Cemetery with the Rev. Dave Daumer, pastor of St. Pauls Lutheran Church officiating. Anderson-Perasso Funeral Home is in charge.

Mr. Robe was born August 3, 1900, in Laurel, Nebr. He was raised in the Grove City, Minn. Area. He worked in the Minneapolis area for several years before moving to Sioux City in 1930. He married Anna Mitchell in September 1930 in Sioux City. She died January 1962 in Sioux City. He was in the furniture business in Sioux City for 56 years, retiring in 1986.

Survivors include a son, Don Robe of Sioux City; a daughter, Shirley Nash of Inverness, Florida; a stepson, Jim Smith of Waupaca, Wisconsin; a brother, Edward Robe of Sioux City; a sister, Haulda Antonson of Heron Lake, Minnesota; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
