Julia A. Smith, 76, of Oakdale, California, formerly of Sioux City and Bronson, Iowa died Friday in California.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the W Harry Christy Funeral Home, 1801 Morningside Ave. Then Rev E.D. Pappadackis of the Third Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith was born July 4, 1904 in Bronson. She had lived in Bronson and Sioux City most of her life until moving to California 18 years ago. She married Eugene Smith in May 1920. He died in 1969.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. James (Genevieve) Doty of Encinitas, California; three sons, Lloyd L. of Covina, Don L. of Bullhead City, Ariz. And Marion G, of Sioux Falls, S.D.; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Floyd Paul of Texas and one sister, Louise of Fort Benton, Mont.
