Vivian L. Van De Steeg, 76, of Sioux City died Friday August 24,2001, at a Sioux City hospital.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Banner Township Cemetery, Lawton, Iowa, with the Rev. A.T. Washington officiating. There will be no visitation. Myers Brothers Colonial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Vivian Van De Stegg was born September 18, 1924 in Lawton the daughter of Herbert and Emma (Bremmer) Plumer. She attended Lawton Schools and graduated from Lawton High School in 1941.

She had been married to Glenn R. Van De Steeg. She lived in Sioux City most of her adult life.

Survivors include a son, Doug Van De Steeg of Panama City Beach, Fla., a daughter, Debra Griffiths and her husband, Chip, of West Chester, Penn; and two grandchildren, Jeff and Stacie.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Shirley Lacy.
