SIOUX CITY -- Bert Blickenstaff, 42, of Sioux City died Thursday, March 24, 2011, at an Omaha hospital.

No services will be held at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff.

Bert was born April 11, 1968, in Canyon City, Colo. He grew up in Stockton, Calif. Bert was an auto mechanic and an all around handy-man. He loved to travel and spend time with family.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Jo Blickenstaff; his sons, Charles and Garen; his daughters, Ashley, Chala and Brittany; his brother-in-law, Nathan; sisters, Kelli, Irene and Christina; special aunt, Charlene and uncle, David, and Davey, and Steph Dunscomb; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Bert was preceded in death by his mother, Joanne; his grandparents, Irene and Paul and Elsie and Glee; and his niece, Amanda.
