12 March 2011SIOUX CITY -- Raymond Leroy Lane, 81, of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Sioux City, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Stephen United Church of Christ, 1875 Farnsley Rd., in Louisville. Burial will be in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, in Louisville. Visitation will resume 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.
Raymond has worked for LG&E for 38 years. He was a U.S. Army veterans of the Korean conflict.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 220 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3204.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Ruth (Griffor) Lane; his children, Linda Lawrence (Gregory), Carol Lane, Linda Stovall (Tommy), and Judy Dwyer (Rick); six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Leroy Lane.
