31 May 2011SIOUX CITY -- Robert Beardsley, 82, of Omaha, Neb., formerly of Sioux City, died Sunday, May 29, 2011.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at King of Kings Lutheran Church in Omaha. Burial will be in Westlawn Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Westlawn Hillcrest Funeral Home in Omaha.
Robert was born Jan. 20, 1929, in Sioux City.
Survivors include his wife, Bev; a son, David (Ruth); a daughter, Sharon (Don) Murray; four grandsons; two step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ron (Florence) Beardsley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Meta Beardsley; and a brother, Richard.
Memorials may be sent to King of Kings Nursery, Kids Kount or Concordia Junior and Senior High Schools.
