19 May 2011HORNICK, Iowa -- Jeannette McCleerey, 85, of Burnsville, Minn., formerly of Hornick, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 16, 2011.
Services will be 7 p.m. today at White Funeral Home in Apple Valley, Minn. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Visitation will resume 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Armstrong Funeral Home in Mapleton, Iowa. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Mapleton.
Jeannette was born in Hornick.
She loved volunteering at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Minnesota.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Janet Bazzachini and Gale (Merle) Winsor; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; her brother, Loren (Helen) Blakely; her sister, Betty Ruth (Wayne) Boles; and several loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.A. "Mack" McCleerey; and a son-in-law, Vince Bazzachini.
