15 May 2011SIOUX CITY -- Phyllis Jean (Bouyok) Hoover, 67, of Parker, Colo., formerly of Sioux City, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Thursday, May 5, 2011 at her home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, Denver, Colo. Local services will be 10:30 a.m. May 21 in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Sioux City. Arrangements are under the direction of Horan McConaty Funeral Homes of Aurora, Colo. Expressions of condolence may be posted at horancares.com.
Phyllis was born Nov. 3, 1943, in Sioux City, the daughter of Michael and Ann Marie (Vakulskas) Bouyok. Phyllis helped many people as a registered nurse for the last 46 years. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Norris; her sons Mark and his wife, Kelly, and Matthew and his wife Gina, and grandchildren, Benjamin and Nathan. Also surviving Phyllis are her two sisters, Theresa Bouyok of Sioux City, and Elaine Cowles of Colorado Springs.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Michael and Ann Bouyok, who resided at 508 S. Fairmount in Sioux City.
