SIOUX CITY -- Lorraine Delores Frazee, 83, of Worthington, Minn., formerly of Sioux City, went to be with the Lord on April 26, 2011, at her residence following a lengthy battle with pulmonary fibrosis.

A celebration of life service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 14, at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, 3220 Stone Park Blvd., in Sioux City. Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery, Nobles and County Highway 5, in Worthington, Minn. Visitation with the family will be 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Lorraine was born in Jefferson, S.D., on July 11, 1927, to Glen and Luella Edwards. She married Raymond Frazee on Aug. 14, 1943, in Dakota City. She had lived in Wichita, Kan., for the past four and a half years with her daughter, Sherry, and son-in-law, Richard.

She was a loving, giving and caring mother and a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother. She never met a stranger she didn't like. Her smile was contagious and she had a laugh that made you giggle. Her favorite pastimes were sitting outside enjoying nature, tending to her flowers and her beautiful rose garden.

Survivors include her four children, Sherry (Richard) Gormally of Wichita, Kan., Ed (Carolyn) Frazee of Sioux City, Beverly (Steven) Johnson of West Dundee, Ill., and Raymond "Jim" (Judy) Frazee of Alexandria, Minn.; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Donna (Norm) Semple, Joyce McPeek, Patty (Slim) Bietema, Diana Miller and Rosella (Gary) Mannion; brothers, Dwayne (Aggie) Edwards, John (Jolean) Edwards and Randy (Sue) Edwards; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her parents, Glen and Luella Edwards; and a brother, Glen Edwards.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial had been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 South Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
