SIOUX CITY -- Ronald M. Zinn, 57, of Sioux City passed away Monday, May 02, 2011, at Touchstone Living Center from a long illness.

Per Ronald's wishes, his body was cremated and private family services will be held. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Ronald was born March 9, 1954, in Sioux City, to Ronald R. and Joanne M. (Rys) Zinn. He graduated from Heelan High School in 1972. He worked for Swift and Company.

Ronald loved to listen to music and in his younger years enjoyed playing the guitar. He was particularly found of nature and all its beauty especially sunsets.

He is survived by his parents, Ronald and Joanne Zinn; brother, Jim Zinn; two sisters, Sheryll (Stuart) Moore and Sandy (Bill) Burke, all of Sioux City; three aunts, Dolores Frink and Eileen Rys, both of Sioux City and Marilyn Hochwender of Omaha; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
