Danbury, Iowa—Ted Hoyt, 91, of Danbury died Monday, Nov. 25, 1996, at a nursing home in Dallas, Texas.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Danbury United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Liston Township Cemetery in Danbury. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Armstrong Funeral Home in Mapleton, Iowa.

Mr. Hoyt was born December 19, 1904, in Danbury, the son of Nathaniel Edson and Jessie Madora (Patterson) Hoyt. He was raised in Danbury. He moved to Dallas in 1979, and entered the nursing home in 1993.

Mr. Hoyt was a former member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Betty Jacobsen of Dallas; a nephew, Don Jacobsen; and three nieces, Kathleen Rubner, Jean Krejci and Joyce Lenth.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Granter and Beryl Silver and two half brothers, Earl and Lee Patchin.
