17 Febuary 2011MOVILLE, Iowa -- Ronald Lee Morrison, 59, of Moville died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff, with the Rev. Steve Jewitt officiating. Interment will be in Logan Park Cemetery at a later date. Ronald was born Aug. 4, 1951, in Sioux City, the son of Ulyssis Alexander and Verena Marie (Hahne) Morrison. He attended Sioux City schools and graduated from Central High School. He then attended Western Iowa Technical School for a year.
He was united in marriage with Blanche Smith in November 1972, the couple later divorced. He worked for many years as a feed mixer, and later worked as a security guard until his health forced his retirement.
He was an avid collector of all items.
He is survived by his two sons, Timothy Morrison and his wife, Marjorie of Sioux City, and James Morrison of Sioux City; his brother, Kenneth Morrison and his wife, Sharon of Sioux City; and his ex-wife, Blanche Smith-Griszkurejer of Jefferson, S.D.
