17 February 2011CORRECTIONVILLE, Iowa -- Leland A Frost, 95, of Correctionville passed away Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, at Correctionville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Services will be at a later date. The Nicklas D. Jensen Funeral Home of Correctionville is in charge of the arrangements.
Leland A. Frost was born Aug. 21, 1915, to Maggie (Buehler) and Louis Frost in Correctionville. He was a master mechanic, a welder and a farmer.
He enjoyed radio control model airplanes and all engines. He touched the hearts of many people.
He is survived by his son, Jim Frost of Sioux City; and a sister, Bernice Johnson of Woodbine, Iowa.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lois Frost; sister, Bessie Moos; and brother, George Frost.
