SIOUX CITY -- Pam Kelly-Hintz, 67, of Stewartville, Minn., formerly of Sioux City and Norfolk, Neb., passed away Feb. 18, 2011.

Memorial services will be 4 p.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church in Stewartville. A reception will follow. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Norfolk.

Pamela Ann Kelly was born Feb. 15, 1944, to Harland and Josephine (Jo) Kelly in Norfolk, Neb. She was married to Leslie Hintz on March 28, 1964. They were later divorced.

Pam worked for Brodkey's Jewelers in Norfolk and later in Sioux City. Also while in Sioux City, she worked for Gateway, Qwest and Allied Solutions. Most recently she worked at Shopko South Optical in Rochester.

Pam was very involved in Boy Scouts while both sons were active. She also continued her involvement in scout leadership training and Wood Badge. Pam was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star since 1967, holding several positions including Worthy Matron.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (Molly) and Jonathan (Becky), and five grandchildren, Erin, Amy, Joe, Cole and Jonathan, all of Stewartville; her brother, Roger (CoAnn) Kelly of Adel, Iowa; her sister, Phyllis (Jerry) Johnson; and sister-in-law, Nancy (Jim) Kelly, all of Sioux City.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents; baby brother, Michael; and brother, Jim.

Pam chose to donate her body to science through the Mayo Clinic. Pam enjoyed science, and this is her gift to the field.
