SIOUX CITY -- Clara Storm, 81, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011, at her residence.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Rustin Avenue United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Sylvia Kennedy officiating. Private graveside services will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel.

Clara was born Feb. 2, 1930, in Sioux City, to Clarence and Frances (Hamstead) Flick. She attended Sioux City schools.

She was married to Kenneth Storm in 1946, in Arizona. She was a loving mother to three daughters.

She was a member of Rustin Avenue United Methodist Church, where she was the treasurer for the United Methodist Women's Circle. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.

Clara is survived by her husband, Kenneth Storm of Sioux City; three daughters, Trudy (Nelson) Henry of Sioux City, Kara (Donald Jr.) Prenger of South Sioux City, and Shari Storm of Sioux City; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Betty Suarze; and two brothers, Leo and Robert Flick.

Memorials may be directed to Rustin Avenue United Methodist Church.
