SIOUX CITY -- Patricia Ann Read (Thompson, Doyle), 75, of Rockford, Ill., formerly of Sioux City, passed away Jan. 4, 2011, at her home due to an illness.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Blessed Sacrament Church in Sioux City. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church.

Patricia was born May 21, 1935, to Frank and Marie Doyle, of Sioux City. She was married to John Read of Rockford, and had a prior marriage to Craig H. Thompson Sr. of Sioux City.

Survivors include her husband, John Read; brother, Richard Doyle of Naples, Fla.; children, Deborah Livdahl of Hardvard, Ill., Lisa Wissing of Phoenix, Ariz., Craig Thompson Jr. of Sioux City, and Amy Zobrist and her husband, Arthur Zobrist of Norfolk, Neb.; stepchildren, John Read III and his wife, Ronnie, James Read and Jeff Read; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
