SIOUX CITY -- Bradley, Charles, Col. USAF (ret.), DAL Capt. (ret.), 76, a longtime resident of the Lakewood area and Grand Junction, Colo., resident since 2008, formerly of Sioux City, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, in Grand Junction.

Military services will be 3 p.m. Monday in Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2830 Riverside Parkway, Grand Junction, Colo. Memorial services will be at a later date in Denver, Colo. Those wishing to make dedications in Charles' memory may do so at www.callahan-edfast.com.

He was born in Ulysses, Neb. He made his career in both the U.S. Air Force, retiring with the rank of colonel and then as a captain with Delta Airlines.

Chuck was an avid Broncos fan and enjoyed both playing and watching golf.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jean (Friedrichs) Bradley; two sons, Scott Bradley and Patrick (Tammy) Bradley; four daughters, Jill (Russell) Applegate, Colleen (John) Bradley-Sanders, Gail (John) Howe and Erin (Robert) Farrell; five grandchildren, Shannon, MacKenzie, Katharine, Jonah and Brady; a brother, Gerald Bradley; and a sister, Mary Margaret (Bradley) Wolters.

He was preceeded in death by his parents; and two brothers, John Bradley and Daniel Bradley.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Colorado, 3090 North 12th Street, Unit B, Grand Junction, CO. 81506.
