2 January 2011SIOUX CITY -- Marilyn A. Warburton, 64, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Morningside Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Tom Lo Van officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Online condolences may be sent to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Marilyn was born on Nov. 7, 1946, to Russell and Evelyn (Hanson) Hall in Wayne, Neb. She graduated from Wayne High School in 1964 and went on to graduate from NBT in Sioux City. She was married to Larry Warburton on April 11, 1966, in Sioux City.
She was a member of Morningside Lutheran Church. Marilyn enjoyed camping and fishing when her health allowed her to in addition to playing bingo. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren, and being there to support them in their activities.
She is survived by her three children, daughters, Robin (Kevin) Swick of Dakota City, and Renae (Terry )Grant of Sioux City, and son, Ryan (Angie) Warburton of Chesapeake, Va.; nine grandchildren, Cody (Terah) Nelson, Tyler, Sarah Nelson, Jozey, Jessie Seaton, Chris Cox, Chris and special friend, Briana, Jason and Autumn Warburton; brothers, Bob (Sandy) Hall and Ken (Debbie) Hall; sisters, Joyce Godberson, Wanda Schram and Linda (Jerry) Wash; sister-in-law, Linda Klingbeil; and a special friend, Dennis Wynn of Sioux City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and three brothers-in-law, Ronald Klingbeil, Sam Schram and Harley Godberson.
