Correctionville, Iowa—Irene L. Morgan, 86, of Osceola, formerly of Correctionville, died Thursday, April 27, 1995, at her home.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Walter-Armstrong Funeral Home in Anthon with the Rev. Walter Bernard Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery, Rock Branch, rural Correctionville. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Morgan was born Oct. 29, 1908, in Magnet, Nebr., the daughter of Theodore and Esther (Ashby) Rohr. She taught school at Verdell, Neb., two years. She married Arthur Morgan Oct. 17, 1929, in Pierce., Nebr. The couple lived in Correctionville a short time prior to moving to Washington State. They returned to Correctionville where they lived for 42 years. In 1975 they moved to Woodburn and to Osceola in 1980.

Mrs. Morgan was a member of the Methodist Church in Osceola and the American Legion and Order of Eastern Star at Woodburn.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter and her husband, Gloria and Raymond LeFebvre of Osceola, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren
