19 August 2010SIOUX CITY -- David Ray Krause, 53, of Blue Springs Mo., formerly of Sioux City and Ponca Neb., passed away Aug. 12, 2010, at Kindred Hospital of Kansas City after a brief illness.
Services were held Aug. 16 at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove, Mo.
David was born on July 16, 1957, in Falls City, Neb., the son of Roland "Dale" and Zona (Brady) Krause. He graduated from Ponca High School in 1976. He had been employed by Gateway Computer Systems prior to his illness.
David's survivors include two sons, Cody and Tiffany Krause and Michael Krause of Blue Springs, Mo.; one daughter, Amie Krause of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two sisters, Susan and Philip Jensen of Chadron, Neb., and Julie and Jeff McNeese of Lincoln, Neb.; one brother, Dan and Deb Krause of Ponca; maternal grandmother, Elsie Brady of Raytown, Mo.; three grandchildren; and five nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
