.SIOUX CITY -- Tim Bradley "Hillbilly" Smith, 52, of Sioux City passed away Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, at his local hospital following a lengthy illness.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Ian Hoover officiating. Burial will be in L'Eau Qui Court Cemetery, Niobrara, Neb. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Tim was born July 22, 1958, in Sioux City, the son of Raymond L. and Esther A. Smith. Tim lived in California a couple of years, then moved to Washington state. At 16, he moved to Sioux City.

He married Bonita May Moyle on Feb. 14, 1981, in Elk Point, S.D. He later married Sue Angela Phipps on July 15, 1989, in Martinsburg, Neb. He worked for Sioux Car Park and had other miscellaneous jobs.

He was a member of the Northern Ponca Tribe. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking.

Survivors include his children, Angela Sue and Kirk Campbell of South Sioux City, Leah Marie McLees of Helena, Mont., Brett Michael Smith of South Sioux City, Brea Sue Anne Smith of South Sioux City, and Austin Bradley Smith of South Sioux City; grandchild, Madison Makenna McLees of Helena, Mont.; and his siblings, David Smith of Norfolk, Neb., Brenda Koenig of St. Joseph, Mich., Lynn and Siegfred Kriska-Weigl of St. Louis, Mo., Dwayne Vanderlinden of Sioux City, Jeff and Tracey Smith of Toledo, Wash., Les and Debbie Smith of Oregon City, Ore., Gary Smith of Longview, Wash., Debbie and James Sprecker of Underwood, Iowa, Joni and Todd Archambeau of Yankton, S.D., and Troy Smith of Sioux City.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, April Sue Smith; a brother, James W. Smith; his father, Raymond L. Smith; and his mother, Esther A. Smith.
