30 October 2010CORRECTIONVILLE, Iowa -- L. Pauline Edwards, 86, of Correctionville passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at Correctionville Nursing and Rehab Center.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. today at the Grace United Methodist Church in Correctionville, with the Rev. Sheryl K. Ashley officiating. Burial will be at the Correctionville Cemetery. The Nicklas D. Jensen Funeral Home of Correctionville is in charge of the arrangements.
L. Pauline Edwards was born May 26, 1924, to Wilbur Livermore and Elizabeth "Bessie" (McDermott) Livermore Peters, in Anthon, Iowa. Throughout her life she lived in the Correctionville, Ida Grove, Ricketts, Iowa, and Vermillion, S.D. areas.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking (especially making homemade noodles), fishing, card playing and her family.
She is survived by one son, Larry (Lea) Edwards of Vermillion, S.D.; two granddaughters, Sherry and Tammy; great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Laurence (Sharon) and Jim (Karen) Peters of Correctionville; eight nieces and nephews; and one aunt, Kathryn Chinn of Wall Lake, Iowa.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmer; one son, Jerry; three sisters; and one brother.
