9 November 2010SIOUX CITY -- Shirley I. Reilly, 84, of Sioux City died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, at a local hospital.
Graveside services wil be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Cemetery in Le Mars, Iowa. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service Condolences may be sent online to www.waterburyfuneralserviceinc.com.
Shirley was born on March 9, 1926, in Sioux County, Iowa, the daughter of Pearson George and Hattie (Hop) VandeBrake. She attended rural schools in the area.
She was united in marriage with Thomas C. Reilly on Dec. 6, 1945, and to this union three children were born. Thomas preceded her in death on June 26, 1992, in Sioux City.
Shirley was a homemaker for her entire life, raising her family. She enjoyed her gardening, her flowers, sewing and all animals.
Shirley will be missed by family, which includes her daughter, Patricia Willems (James) of Phoenix; and her son, James L. Reilly (Ruth) of Sioux City; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Joyce French of Allen, Neb.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas C. Reilly; and her son Thomas Pierce Reilly.
