SIOUX CITY -- Michele Krogh, 61, of Sioux City passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010, at her residence.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff.

Michele was born Aug. 12, 1948, in Providence, R.I., the daughter of Peter and Maxine (Roby) Buccoliero. As her father was a career Marine, she was raised on many bases. Michele graduated in 1966 from Oxon High School in Maryland. She worked at the main Post Office in Washington, D.C. She later moved to Vista, Calif., and worked for the May Co., a department store where she was in the sales and purchasing departments.

On April 20, 1972, Michele was united in marriage to James P. Krogh in San Diego, Calif. She was a homemaker, and kept busy raising her three children. During 1985, she started driving a school bus for the Cajon Valley School District in El Cajon, Calif. In 2005, Michele and Jim moved to Sioux City to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

Michele is survived by her husband, Jim of Sioux City; two sons, James Krogh and his wife, Loren of San Diego, Calif., and Peter Krogh and his wife, Charity of Sioux City; one daughter, Rachel Perry of Sioux City; eight grandchildren, Justin Perry, Matthew Perry, Amanda McKivergan, Olivia Krogh, Maia Krogh, Samantha Krogh, Lilyanna Krogh and Audrey Krogh; and one sister, Rhea and her husband, Scott Huff of Annapolis, Md.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
