SIOUX CITY -- Marcella "Sally" Hart, 78, of Sioux City died June 2, 2010, at a Sioux City nursing home.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rev. Craig Collison officiating. Burial will be in McCook Lake, S.D. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Monday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Marcella "Sally" Hart was born Dec. 6, 1931, in White Lake, S.D., to John and Elizabeth (Kesel) Holzhauser. She married Wallace Hart on July 3, 1986, in Vermillion, S.D. He preceded her in death in 2001.

Sally was self-employed, owning various bars and restaurants including Sally and Wally's, Bud's Bar/Restaurant, Skyline Bar and Chaplain Truck Stop, where she was employed. She retired from Hospice of Siouxland, where she worked as an in-home nurse.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Sally enjoyed gardening both flowers and vegetables, taking care of people as well as spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, James Potratz and his significant other, Laverna Urben of Dakota Dunes; daughters, Shirley Harp of Dakota City, and Jody Hart of Newton, Kan.; brothers, John Paul Holzhauser of Gettysburg, S.D., and Gerald Holzhauser of Plankinton, S.D.; a sister, Louella and husband, Albert Moeller of White Lake, S.D.; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Ernest, Edward and Raymond Holzhauser; two sisters, Minnie Nightinggale and Mamie Krumuieda; and one grandson, J.D. Harp.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandchildren.
