Sergeant Bluff—Grace O. Aalseth, 72, Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Sergeant Bluff, died Wednesday in the Baptist Health Care Center in Kansas City after a long illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, in Christy Morningside Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Marzolf of Sergeant Bluff Community United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Mrs. Aalseth, the former Grace O. Martin, was born October 12, 1915, in Oak Valley Township, Elk Point, Kansas and moved to Sergeant Bluff in 1928. She married Donald Vern Aalseth July 27, 1935, in Sioux City. He died May 22, 1967, in Sioux City. She moved to Kansas City in 1985.

Mrs. Aalseth was a member of Sergeant Bluff Community United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Moore of Kansas City; a son, Gary of Sergeant Bluff; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Reitan of Albaton, Iowa; a brother, Carl Martin of Sergeant Bluff and four grandchildren.
