MOVILLE, Iowa -- Nancy L. Rogers, 65, of Moville, died Friday, March 5, 2010 at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Moville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Edward Frank officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff.

Nancy was born Aug. 23, 1944, in Sac City, Iowa, the daughter of Clayton and Dorothy (McCaulley) Rubendall. She attended schools in Sac City and later Mapleton, Iowa.

Nancy was married to Aaron Gosch of Ute. From this union Nancy was blessed with two children, Adam and Tammy. Later, she and her children moved to Denison, Iowa. Nancy and her friend, Lawrence Nelson were blessed with Jennifer. In 1988, Nancy moved to Moville and on Jan. 26, 1991, she was united in marriage to James H. Rogers.

Nancy enjoyed her grandchildren, and her hobbies were sewing and gardening. She was a member of the garden club, and Moville United Methodist Church, where she was active with the United

Methodist Women's Circle and the UMW Mission Community.

Nancy is survived by her husband, James; her son, Adam Gosch of Denison; two daughters, Tammy and her husband, Daniel Gangestad of Vail, Iowa, and Jennifer and her husband, Glenn Tigges of Carroll, Iowa; her brother, Kenneth Rubendall and his wife, Laura of Peoria, Ariz.; four sisters, Marge and her husband, Oskar Jurgens of Denison, Delores Mohr of Denison, Donna Krayenhagen of Moville and Dorothy and her husband, Richard Uhl of Lawton, Iowa; her longtime friend, Lawrence Nelson of Carroll, Iowa; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Eugene Rubendall.
