SIOUX CITY -- Herman S. Pranke Jr., 82, of Storm Lake, Iowa, formerly of Sioux City, died Saturday, May 22, 2010, at a Storm Lake care center.

Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. today in Calvary Cemetery in Sioux City. There will be no visitation. Waterbury Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Herman was born on July 20, 1927, in Sioux City, to Herman S. and Margaret (Loubey) Pranke.

Survivors include his son, David of Sioux City; daughters, Sherry (Mike) Murphy and Michelle (Dale) Bell, all of Sioux City; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren, all of Sioux City.
