19 May 2010MOVILLE, Iowa -- Marvin Cooper, 86, of Sun City, Calif., formerly of Moville, passed away on March 22, 2010, after a very brief illness.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Lawton Community Presbyterian Church. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Helen; a son, David and Toni Cooper of Moville; a daughter, Shella Surowoski of Manhattan, Kan.; a stepson, Doug and Nancy Taylor of California; a stepdaughter, Bobbie and Mike Rossiter of Nevada; six grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-stepgrandchildren; a sister, Alice Winneke of Sioux City; a brother-in-law, Larry and Lou Hansen of Kingsley, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Mary (Sadler) Cooper; his first wife, Wynola Hansen; and brothers, Vernon and Carroll.
The family requests no flowers.
