SIOUX CITY -- Marcia M. Hansen, 59, of Sioux City died on Sunday, July 25, 2010, at a local care facility.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Logan Park Cemetery, with Chaplain Ron Pietz of Hospice of Siouxland officiating. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff.

Marcia was born on Oct. 24, 1950, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Ray and Amelia (Jones) Hansen. She attended Sioux City Community Schools and graduated from Central High School in 1968. Marcia was employed at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City in the dietary department until she became disabled.

She loved watching television and spending time with her family and her pets.

Marcia will be missed by her family which includes her son, Greg (Suzanne) Hansen of Kildeer, Ill.; her daughter, Karie Hansen of Sioux City; her granddaughter, Kayla Hansen; and her sister, Crystal Smutzler of Sioux City.

Marcia was preceded in death by her parents.
