25 July 2010SIOUX CITY -- Vivian (Newton) Crofts, 63, formerly of Sioux City, passed away peacefully July 9, 2010.
A memorial was held in Vivian's honor on July 16, 2010.
Vivian was born June 1, 1947, in Sioux City, and was a resident of Cedar City, Utah. She was a 1965 graduate of Sioux City Central High School. She was a veteran, having served with the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; daughters, Michelle McClain of San Antonio, Texas, and Melanie Glasrud of Sioux Falls, S.D.; her mother, Marjorie Vivian (Lindgren) Newton of Albuquerque, N.M.; brothers, Dennis and Derald Newton, both of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Carl Newton Sr.; and her brother, Donald Newton Jr.
Vivian will be greatly missed by her loving family and those whose hearts she touched.
