9 July 2010ALBUQUERQUE N.M. -- Michael Jenkins, 63, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at his home, since 1984, in Albuquerque.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Daniels Family Funeral Services, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Cancer Research or the Heritage Home Healthcare & Hospice. Those who wish to express condolences may do so at www.danielsfuneral.com
Michael was born Nov. 2, 1946, in Sioux City.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon; son, Mike; daughter, Sheila; grandchildren Carlie, Josh, Clayton, Shelby, Cody, Jeffrey and Shawn; sister, Shirley; and brothers, Bill, Rick, and Roger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Myrtle Jenkins.
Mike was an avid hunter, fisherman, golfer and he enjoyed the time spent at his residence at Conchas Dam, N.M. He was a carpenter all of his working years, taking pride in the commercial projects he helped build through his employer, Klinger Constructors.
