SIOUX CITY -- Donnabelle Craig, 78, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at a local hospital.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Wesley United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Tess Panamarow officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Donnabelle was born July 13, 1931, in Castana, Iowa, the daughter of Edward and Frances Rosetta (Revel) McNutt. She graduated from Castana High School.

She married Robert C. Craig on April 14, 1950, in Salix, Iowa. To this union, seven children were born.

She was a member of Whitfield United Methodist Church. She was involved in the American Legion Auxiliary, Sioux Puffers Square Dancers and was a Cub Scout leader of Pack 111. She enjoyed reading and feeding the crowd. She loved children, especially little babies and going for walks with pretty scenery.

Survivors include her seven children, Marian (Bob) Larson of Sioux City, Michael (Susan, deceased) Craig of Bentonville, Ark., Bruce Craig of Sioux City, Brian (Kathy) of Sioux City, Michelle (Lee) Williamson of Sioux City, Shawn (Jill) Craig of South Sioux City and Sharon (Brian) Holmes of Lake Forrest, Calif.; 16 grandchildren, Deborah (Brian), Daniel, Karen (Stacey), Lisa, Tracy, Christopher (Wendy), Melaine (Matthew), Stephanie (Brian), BJ (Lindsay), Jason, Aaron, Samantha (Eric), Craig, Allen, William and Keturah; 13 great-grandchildren, Rose, Jasmine, Marina, India, Jacob, Jolie, Madisyn, Kaitlyn, Camryn, Kaden, Myles, Drake and Casey; a brother, Charles (MaryLynn) McNutt of Grand Junction, Colo.; and a sister, Bonnie (Wallace) Parker of Sloan, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Darrell and his wife, Edelene; and a daughter-in-law, Susan.

Pallbearers will be Brian Urban, BJ Craig, Matthew Dickson, Craig Williamson, Brian Ganger, Eric Elgert and Jason Funk. Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Craig, Daniel Larson, William Craig, Aaron Williamson, Stacey McGhee, Tracy Stith, Jacob McGhee, Kaden Craig, Myles Craig, Casey Elgert, Drake Paul, Tom Frisbie and Brett Reid.
