Norma T. Tague, 69, of Sioux City died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002, at her residence following a lengthy illness with cancer.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sioux City, with the Rev. Steve Brodersen officiating. Burial will be in Westfork Township Cemetery, Climbing Hill, Iowa. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel.

Mrs. Tague was born March 8, 1933, in Le Mars, Iowa, the daughter of John and Cecelia (Ahmann) Flynn. She moved with her family to Sioux City as a child. She was raised in Sioux City, where she attended school and graduated from Heelan High School in 1951.

She married Alfred Tague on March 25, 1952, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Sioux City. They lived in Bronson, Iowa, from 1952 to 1958 and in Lawton, Iowa, from 1958 to 1993 before moving to Sioux City. She was employed with Aalf's Manufacturing for 16 years until her retirement. She later worked for the Sioux City School District for three years.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Moville for a number of years and then actively attended church in Sioux City. She enjoyed crafts, reading, computers, her grandchildren and crocheting.

Survivors include her husband, Alfred Tague of Sioux City; five daughters, Elizabeth and her husband, Tom Slaven of Sioux City, Patricia and her husband, Bill Denzer of Monterey, Calif., Nancy and her husband, Francis Baker, Kathleen and her husband, Doug Stanek, and Marilyn Tague, all of Sioux City; a son and his wife, James and Susan Tague of Lawton, Iowa; 10 grandchildren, Michael and Stacy Vennard, Jeremy Baker, Amanda, Ryan and Cassandra Stanek, Jennifer and Nicholas Tague and Heather and Holly Cook; five sisters, Cecil Hare of Des Moines, Mary Slate of Waukee, Iowa, Kathleen O'Bryan of Jefferson, Iowa, Carol Hettinger of Atlantic, Iowa, and Rita Flynn of Coon Rapids, Iowa; and three brothers, Robert and Tom Flynn, both of Pocahontas, Iowa, and James Flynn of Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Darlene Jacobson.

Pallbearers will be Tom Slaven, Bill Denzer, Francis Baker, Doug Stanek, Brian Bond and Denny Tilley. Honorary pallbearers will be Leonard Beaver, Marshall Ferdig, Lyle Morgan, Leonard Cassens, Kenny Schieue and Randy Beaver.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
