12 April 2010CLIMBING HILL, Iowa -- Bradley D. Christensen, 59, of Climbing Hill passed away Friday, April 9, 2010, at his residence.
Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church in Climbing Hill. Burial will be in the West Fork Township Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at Waterbury Funeral Service.
Bradley was born on June 24, 1950, in Sioux City, the son of Gayle and Carol (Morrison) Christensen. He graduated in 1968 from Woodbury Central in Moville, Iowa.
In August of 1974, he was married to Deborah Swanger in Sioux City. In 1972, he was employed at Terra Chemical, where he worked until retiring in 2007 due to health. Bradley enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also loved cars. Besides racing, he would fix and restore cars.
Bradley is survived by his daughter, Megan Christensen of Jacksonville, Fla.; his son, Justin Christensen of Louisiana; his father, Gayle Christensen of Climbing Hill; and his brother, Craig Christensen and his wife, Mary of Fullerton, Neb.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Curt in 1970; and his mother, Carol in 1998.
