Funeral Services Held For Aileen V. Hodges

Funeral services for Aileen V. Hodges, 71, of Salina, Kansas, formerly of Moville, were held Tuesday, May 11, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Salina, Kansas. Rev. Robert Schaedel and Rev. Charles Adams officiated. Interment was at Russell Cemetery, Russell, Kansas.

Mrs. Hodges was born January 25, 1928 at Russell County, Kansas. She moved to Salina in 1976 from Moville. She was a news reporter and proof reader for the Moville Record for 13 years until her retirement in 1976.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Morning Star Bible Class in Salina, and a member of AARP.

Survivors include a son, Daryl Hodges of Arkansas City, Kansas; one sister, Delores Bender of Salina; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son Rory in 1977.
