Funeral Services Held For Orville L Day

Funeral Services for Orville L. Day, 84, of Odessa, Missouri, were held Monday, June 13, 1994 at 11:00 a.m. at the Husman-Sparks-McDowell Chapel in Odessa. Burial was in the Odessa Cemetery.

Mr. Day was born in Odessa and lived in Moville before returning to Odessa in 1969. He was an inspector for the U.S. Soil Conservation for 36 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. His wife, Opal L. Day died in 1991.

He was a member of the Moville United Methodist Church and a member of the Odessa Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mr. Day died June 11, 1994 in St. Mary’s Manor, Blue Springs, Missouri.

Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Combest and a brother B. R. Day, both of Lee Summit.
