Richard L. Watts, 52, Sioux City, died suddenly Monday, May 25, 1992, at his residence.

Services were Saturday at Nelson- Berger Morningside Chapel. Rev. Robert Vaage of First Lutheran Church officiated. Burial was at Memory Park Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by Monahan Post 64, American Legion.

Mr. Watts was born June 13, 1939, at Sioux City. He graduated from East high school and was a lifelong Sioux City resident. He married Marsha Kilstrom Oct. 29, 1977, at Akron. He was a former Sioux City real estate broker and insurance agent. He currently was a partner/manager with Remodelers HI/3-D Windows. Mr. Watts was a member of First Lutheran Church. He served in the Army Reserve until 1956 when he entered the U.S. Air Force. He was honorably discharged in July 1962.

Survivors include three sons, Brian Watts of Sioux City, Ronald Watts and his wife, Hope, and Timothy Watts, all of Rosemead, Calif.; two daughters, Nicole of Sioux City and Debra and her husband, Daniel Hernandez of Rosemead, Calif.; a brother, Eugene Watts of Sioux City; two sisters and their husbands, Betty and Walter Steig of Sioux City and Bonnie and Martin Simon Jr. of Omaha; and two grandchildren, Jamie and Kevin Watts of Rosemead, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
