Randolph P. Davis, 89, a resident of Matney Manor nursing home in Sioux City, died April 18, 1992.

Mr. Davis was the last living member of George and June Davis family of 12 children, (1884 and 1906).

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 22, at Anderson Funeral home in Elk Point. Rev. Leslie Hernes, pastor of Emmanuel Lutheran Church officiated. Internment was in Pleasant Hill cemetery in the Spink area.

Pallbearers were Floyd Davis, Walter Davis, Wayne Jensen, Mike Kougl, Merle Offerdahl and Ole Overby.

Mr. Davis was born May 16, 1902 on the family farm in the Spink, S.D. area. He married Sadie Marie Siebert, Feb. 15, 1927. The couple lived on the family farm until 1951, when they moved to Sioux City. He was employed at Sioux Brick and Tile Co. until retiring in 1962. He had lived in the nursing home since 1978.

Survivors include a son, Robert C. Davis of North Sioux City, S.D.; three daughters, Rose Hansen of Sioux City, and Marean Massey and Feme Tamez, both of Sylmar, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sadie in 1978.
