William F. Heinrikson, 80, of Kalamazoo, Mich., formerly of Sioux City, died Monday (Dec. 30, 1991), in Kalamazoo after a lengthy illness.

Services were Jan. 4 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City. Rev. Ernest Caltvedt, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran church, officiated. A Masonic service was conducted by Tyrian Masonic Lodge 508 AF & AM following the service at the funeral home. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Heinrikson was born July 20, 1911, in Omaha. He moved to Sioux City in 1920 and graduated from East high school. He married Norma Johnson Aug. 1, 1935, in Sheldon, Ia. She died May 27, 1985, in Sioux City. He worked for the Parks and Recreation department for the city of Sioux City for 17 years. He moved to Kalamazoo in 1988 to be near his son, Robert. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran church while living in Sioux City. He was a member of Tyrian Masonic Lodge 508 AF & AM.

Survivors include two sons, Robert L. Heinrikson of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Daniel K. Heinrikson of Ingleside, Ill.; four grandchildren, John W. Heinrikson of Kalamazoo, Elsie McMahon of Chicago, and Courtney and Amy Heinrikson of Ingleside. He was the brother-in-law of Melvin, Ernie and Harold Johnson of Akron and Leone Dewey of Westfield.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Ida Mae Pickering.
