Lois Jean Sevier, 35, 471 Blair St., Sioux City, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 1992, at a Sioux City hospital of a brief illness. Services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, Sioux City. Rev. Jerry Wood of the Christian Satellite Center officiated. Burial was in Graceland Park cemetery in Sioux City.

Ms. Sevier, the former Lois Jean Bartee, was born Dec. 17, 1956, in Sioux City. She attended Sunnyside, Emerson, West Junior and West High 'schools. She graduated from Morningside College in 1984. She was a mother and homemaker and was active with the Boys Club Auction at Christmas.

Survivors include two daughters, Laynie Jo and Angel Mae Sevier, both at home; a son, Gary Paul Sevier of Albuquerque, N.M.; her mother and stepfather, Beverly Jean and G. Stephen Woolsey of Chatsworth; a brother, Perry Woolsey of Chatsworth; two sisters, Teri Bartee of Chatsworth and Bonnie Stewart of Rapid City, S.D., and a very special friend, Delayne V. Ofstad of Sioux City.

Pallbearers were Bob Wittrock, Delbert Wodtke, Michael Dailey, Albert Schoen, Leon Kennedy and Beryl Kelly.
