Irene I. (Mouw) Tracy, 73, of Westfield, Iowa, and formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday, Dec. 1,
1992, in Sioux City after a short illness.

Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Boniface Catholic church in Sioux City. The Rev. Donald Ries, pastor and Monsignor Gerald Lyon, pastor of St. Patrick's Catholic church in Akron, were concelebrants. Burial was in Calvary cemetery under direction of the Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Mrs. Tracy, the former Irene I. Budde, was born May 2, 1919, in Clearfield, S.D. She married Guy B. Mouw, Feb. 5, 1940, in Sheldon, Iowa. The couple moved to Sioux City in 1946. He died May 10, 1972, in Omaha. She married Edward J. Tracy June 25, 1976, in Sioux City. They made their home in Sioux City until 1978, when they moved to Westfield. Mrs. Tracy was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic church in Akron. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic church while living in Sioux City.

Survivors include her husband, Ed of Westfield; Two sons, Ronald Mouw of Chicago and Gary J. Mouw of Sioux City, a daughter, Maryann Winkler of Sioux 'City; a brother Vertin Budde of Sioux City; a sister, Evelyn Sargent of Rapid City, S.D.; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
