Daniel P. McCarthy
Daniel P. McCarthy, 69, 2612 E. First
St., Sioux City, died Monday at a Sioux
City hospital after a long illness.
Funeral services will be, at 9 a.m.
Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic church
with Rt. Rev. Msgr. Edward C. Lilly
officiating.
Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in
Holy Name cemetery at Marcus, under
direction of the Larkin funeral home,
Sioux City.
The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday at the funeral home.
He was born Feb . - 21 , 1901, at
Cherokee, and lived in Marcus, before
moving to Sioux City in 1931. He owned
and operated a garage and service station in
Sioux City from 1931 to 1968.
Mr. McCarthy was a veteran of world
war 2 and a member of the Disabled
American Veterans and St. Joseph
Catholic church.
Survivor is a brother, James of Sioux
City.
The body was taken to the Larkin
funeral home, Sioux City.
