Sioux City Woman
Stricken While
Driving Her Car
Found Unconscious
In Automobile
By A Passerby

Mrs. June Getz, 32, who lived at
210 Twenty-second Street, Sioux
City, died at an early hour Sunday
morning in Sacred Heart hospital,
Le Mars, where she had been taken
by local officials. A few hours
earlier she had been found in an unconscious
condition in her car which
she had parked on Highway 75 in
the southwest part of town. She
was taken to the hospital by Sheriff
Scholer and given medical attention
but passed away about 4 a. m.
Some difficulty was encountered
in identifying her as she had a drivers
license from Indiana and was
driving a car with a Sioux county
license number which it was later
learned belonged to a brother-in-law
who operates the Getz Motor
company.

Mrs. Getz was born in Warsaw,
Indiana, where her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Howard Dexter, still live. Local
authorities did not learn the address
of her husband whom they understood
was in military service.

The body was taken to a Sioux
City funeral home.
