Marian R. Larsen, 81, of Sioux City died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, at Naples Community Hospital in Naples, Fla.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Kenny Hsu officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Marian was born Jan. 8, 1922, in Sioux City, the daughter of William and Elizabeth (McKeever) Julius. She graduated from Central High School.

She married Glendale A. Larsen on Jun 5, 1943, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was a secretary with Aid Association for Lutherans for nearly 20 years. For the past 16 years, the couple wintered in Bonita Springs, Fla.

She was member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid, Birthday Club and Mr. and Mrs. Club.

Survivors include her husband, Glendale A. Larsen; two sons, Glendale J. Larsen of Madison, Wis., and Gary L. Larsen and his wife, Wilma of Lynnwood, Wash.; a brother, Wilbur Julius and his wife, Dorothy of Sioux City; and a sister-in-law, Mary Julius of Sioux City.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald Julius.

Pallbearers will be Norbert Seebach, Robert Sensanbaugh, Raymond Draube, William Yockey, Lowell Chellew and Douglas Siefker.
