Beverly J. Radley, 69, of Sioux City died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003, at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Gerald Hartz officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.

Beverly was born July 17, 1933, in Sioux City, the daughter of Parnell and Delsie Johnston (Murphy) O'Dea. She attended Central High School and later attended business school at Western Iowa Tech. After graduating from WIT, she worked at various Sioux City businesses and retired in 1986 from the Boys & Girls Home. She was a lifelong resident of Sioux City.

Survivors include her lifetime companion, Dale Nyreen; three sons, Richard and his wife, Linda Radley, David and his wife, Carla Radley, and Bill Radley, all of Sioux City; a daughter, Jody Pickering of Sioux City; seven grandchildren, Lori, Dave, Chris, Cayla, Niki, Dusty and Tiffany; and a great-grandchild, Tanner.

She attended St. Boniface Catholic Church. Beverly's children, grandchildren and great-grandchild were the center of her life and she enjoyed activities with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Jenny.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tiffany Radley, Dave Radley, Niki Pickering, Chris Radley, Cayla Radley and Dusty Pickering.
