Zita Margaret (Tebo) Milliken, 56, of Sioux City died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003, in Sioux City following a lengthy illness.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Native American Church in Winnebago, Neb., with Gerald Beighley Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Winnebago Cemetery. Visitation will begin today and continue until service Saturday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Winnebago Wake and Burial Program.

Mrs. Milliken was born Oct. 14, 1946, in Sioux City. She graduated from high school in Omaha, attended Western Iowa Tech Community College and received her nursing degree from Iowa State University.

She married Junior Milliken on Jan. 27, 1968. She had lived in Winnebago, Omaha and Sioux City. She was employed with Mercy Medical Center until illness forced an early retirement.

She was a member of Native American Church Services.

Survivors include her father, Clarence Ronald Baker of Grand Island, Neb.; her husband, Junior; three daughters, Tina Wiekey, Tammy Bursell and Mary Woods, all of Sioux City; a son, John Walker of Sioux City; a brother, Harold Murran of Texas; a sister, Victoria Tebo Schmidt of Sioux City; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Ethel Brown of Winnebago; and a sister, Bonnie Tebo.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Stroud, Tony Thomas, Eddie Scoffield, Justin Watterson, and Thomas and Patrick Woods.
